Jordan Brown


Jordan is a Senior from Arizona majoring in Biochemistry with a minor in Nutrition. She is a coordinator for Camp Kesem, an RSO dedicated to supporting kids through and beyond their parent’s cancer, and volunteers regularly with Project Sunshine at Seattle Children’s Hospital and the Ronald McDonald House. Additionally, Jordan is involved in research with the Maly Lab in the UW Department of Chemistry. In her free time, she enjoys traveling, cooking, and spending time with family, friends, and her two puppies!

Michaela Vo

Vice President of Programs

Michaela is a Senior from California majoring in Psychology with an intended minor in Microbiology. She volunteers for the student-led nonprofit TeleHealth Access for Seniors, as well as Meals on Wheels San Francisco. She also volunteered at Kaiser Permanente before the start of the pandemic and hopes to resume soon. In addition, Michaela is a research assistant for the Katz Lab in the UW Department of Psychology. In her free time, she loves to cook, travel, cycle, and spend quality time with friends and family.

Ryan Sechler

 Vice President of External Affairs

Ryan is a Junior from the San Francisco Bay Area majoring in Biology with a minor in Global Health. He is currently working as a Certified Nursing Assistant at a nursing facility in Seattle. Ryan also has plans to volunteer at ROOTS Young Adult Shelter in the fall. In his free time, he likes to listen to music, hike, hang out with friends, and work on his car.

Kikki Tucker


Kikki is a Senior from San Francisco majoring in Neuroscience with minors in global health and classical studies. She is one of the CLUE chemistry tutors, Camp Kesem counselors, and does immunology research in Dr. Jennifer Lund's lab at Fred Hutch. In her free time she loves to travel, play soccer, hike, listen to music, and find the best cafes to study in :)


Moeko Agata


Moeko is a Junior majoring in Public Health-Global Health with a minor in Education, Learning, & Society. She is the founder and president of Music for Charity, an RSO dedicated to using music to help those in need, volunteers at Bloodworks Northwest, and does research with the Hawn Lab at UW Medicine. She was also a volunteer at Swedish Medical Center prior to the start of the pandemic and hopes to resume soon. In her free time, she loves to travel, play the clarinet, and spend time with friends and family.

Taylor Hoang

Membership Chair

Taylor is a Junior from Chicago majoring in molecular, cellular, and developmental biology. Her interests lie in pursuing medical school and becoming a physician who serves marginalized communities. Outside of AED, she volunteers for Brain Exercise Initiative & ROOTS, is a crisis counselor at Crisis Text Line, and is a COPE Health Scholar at Swedish Medical Center. In her free time, she enjoys hiking, painting, playing guitar, cooking, and hanging out with friends and family.


Sarah Molu

Outreach Chair

Sarah is a senior from Washington majoring in Biology with minors in Chemistry and Bioethics. She is involved with spinal cord injury recovery methods research with the Perlmutter Lab in the UW Department of Physiology and Biophysics. She is also on the UW Relay for Life team and volunteers with Synapse—a traumatic brain injury support group. In her free time, she loves to hike, climb, draw, and study with friends.


Sanjana Chava

Philanthropy Chair

Sanjana is a sophomore from Washington majoring in Biochemistry. She is a writer for The Daily of the University of Washington and a coordinator for Camp Kesem. She is also a student researcher at the Wood Lab in the UW Department of Medicine where she works on infectious disease research. In her free time she enjoys jogging and riding her bike on the trail, playing the piano and experimenting new food combinations.


Jordan Mazzola

Philanthropy Chair

Jordan is a Junior from New Hampshire double majoring in Biology and Environmental Health. She spent this summer working as a lifeguard and hopes to work in a research lab this fall. Additionally, she is excited to resume volunteering with Bloodworks NW and serve as the Social Media Chair for UW Global Medical and Dental Brigades. In her free time, she loves walks on campus, painting, FaceTiming her family (and dog), and exploring Seattle with friends!
