AED Week Five Events and Updates
Hey AED!
I hope you are all making it through midterms and were able to take some time to enjoy the beautiful weather today! This week's email is going to be formatted with titles so that you can easily find specific information amongst everything I am about to share with you. So here it goes:
STUDY SESSION:
This week AED will be holding our Second Study Session of Autumn Quarter. The theme will be Study Abroad so feel free to join Maddy, Emily, and Greta to ask them as many questions as possible about this opportunity. However, there will also be studying happening and this is a great place to get some help for upcoming midterms from officers and fellow students who have already taken the classes you are currently in. Make sure you attend this study session on Tuesday, October 19th from 7-9pm in SAV 162.
OFFICER MENTORSHIP PROGRAM:
IMPORTANT: Don't forget to fill out this survey for the Officer Mentorship Program! The officer mentorship program is a great way to have someone to provide support and information as you proceed as a pre-medical student here on campus. The survey will close MONDAY at midnight. Find the survey here.
SOCIAL EVENTS:
We have two upcoming social events:
Pumpkin Carving Event with AMSA
Wednesday, October 29th: 6-7 pm

Check Your Boobies Party
Thursday, November 6th: 6-7pm

Look out for future updates and information on these social events on our Facebook Page. Plan these events into your calendars though because they will be a blast!!!!
ISIS TOURS:
The first ISIS tour of the year is coming up this Friday! Don't miss out on your opportunity to try out simulation gear and learn how to intubate a mannequin. See the available dates and sign up here.
T-SHIRTS:
Our awesome t-shirts have arrived! :) If you ordered a shirt on your membership application or on the Catalyst, please come to the next general meeting to pick it up. Please be sure to bring cash or check if you have not paid for it yet! If you haven't ordered one and would like to do so, please complete your order at this link. Quarter zips are still being ordered and will be coming soon!
MEMBERSHIP INTERVIEWS:
As a final reminder, if you haven't emailed an officer yet about setting up an interview to become an official member then you should do that right now. If you are still interested in being involved and are not an official member, find the necessary information here and then email any of the officers. Please do this as soon as possible.
