Hello Premeds,

Hope everyone had a great Halloween weekend and welcome to a new month with AED!

This week, We will be having our Third General Meeting on Tuesday, November 3rd from 6-7 pm in GWN 301.The theme of the meeting will be majors & minors. If your still having trouble deciding what you want to major in or looking for a minor, this meeting is a great opportunity to see what other majors and minors are out there and learn a bit about them! Please RSVP at this Link if you are attending the event:

The AED study groups are finally here!

Included in this e-mail is a link to the survey where you can fill in your classes and availability so we can match you up with a study group. The study groups are perfect if you are looking for others in your class to study with or to procrastinate with, we don't judge.

Here is the catalyst survey:

Become An Official Member!

As a huge reminder, if you haven't emailed an officer yet about setting up an INTERVIEW to become an official member then you should do that ASAP. If you are still interested in being involved and are not an official member, find the necessary information here and then email any of the officers.

Mentorship Programs

Make sure you are an official AED UW member to be eligible for these programs!

The Officer Mentorship Program is now available, if your looking for someone to provide support and information as you proceed as a pre-medical student here on campus, then fill out this survey here! AED officers are a great resource for you to get more information about AED, being pre-med, getting involved on campus, what classes to take, etc. It is also a great way to have a smaller cohort within AED as well and meet new people who have the same course schedule as you. Read the officer biographies here and select your top two for the survey linked above.

The medical student mentor survey is available! Fill it out to be eligible to be matched up with a med student at the UWSOM. This is an amazing opportunity to ask a med student about medical school, how they got there and any advice they have for you. The survey can be found here.
