ABOUT AED AT UW
Welcome to a new year at the University of Washington! I am so excited to welcome you all to a wonderful year of AED.
As we all know, UW has a lot to offer – the variety of opportunities available to us is amazing, but it can also be a bit overwhelming. I can remember how big the campus seemed and how many people were on campus on my first day here. Fortunately, I stumbled upon AED that day, and I haven’t looked back since. Over the past few years, I’ve gained invaluable knowledge and inspiration toward my goal of being a physician, and more importantly, I’ve found a network of lifelong friends. My time in AED has truly been a highlight of my college career. As your President, it is my goal to provide all of you with a group of people who will seem like a second family. You will be gaining friends and opportunities throughout this year so come and join us to take advantage.
I am thrilled to say that we have an action-packed year ahead of us, full of informative general meetings, fun social events, and a wide array of philanthropy events to give back to the community. Please explore the website and check out the calendar to see what events we have coming up. Whether you're a freshman, transfer, or a returning student to the UW, I am excited to see you at our meetings and events. I hope that you will find AED as helpful, inspiring, and fun as I have!
