AED's Second General Meeting!

As we approach the fourth week of Autumn quarter, AED has a ton of stuff prepared for you! This week in AED, we will be having our Second General Meeting. A Medical Student Panel consisting of four medical students from UWSOM (one of them being a past AED member), this Tuesday, October 20th from 6-7 pm in GWN 301. Learn about their paths to medical school and current experiences. Come prepared with questions for our speakers to answer about their life in medical school. As always, there will be food! Please RSVP at the link provided here.

Become An Official Member!

As a huge reminder, if you haven't emailed an officer yet about setting up an INTERVIEW to become an official member then you should do that ASAP. If you are still interested in being involved and are not an official member, find the necessary information here and then email any of the officers.

Mentorship Programs

Make sure you are an official AED UW member to be eligible for these programs!

OFFICER STUDENT MENTORSHIP:

The Officer Mentorship Program is now available, if your looking for someone to provide support and information as you proceed as a pre-medical student here on campus, then fill out this survey here! AED officers are a great resource for you to get more information about AED, being pre-med, getting involved on campus, what classes to take, etc. It is also a great way to have a smaller cohort within AED as well and meet new people who have the same course schedule as you. Read the officer biographies here and select your top two for the survey linked above.

MEDICAL STUDENT MENTORSHIP

The medical student mentor survey is available! Fill it out to be eligible to be matched up with a med student at the UWSOM. This is an amazing opportunity to ask a med student about medical school, how they got there and any advice they have for you. The survey can be found here.
